Hey guys,
I've been using the Launchpad for a while, and created some projects for teaching and learning. So my intention is to promote the cheap G2 series so that people are more aware of its possibilities, with ease, of course.
Then here's what I've been thinking and searching for answers: Since we have the convenient protocol "Spy-Bi-Wire" that takes only 4-wires including both VCC and GND, is it possible to use the phone jack as the transmission? Suppose all the voltage regulation issues could be managed, how could I start bit-banging and take the generated .hex file and output through the jack to program MSP430?
Eventually, an online platform that we could edit codes, and compile (either online or off-line), and flash the generated .hex file to the MSP430 device connected through phone jack all at once is all I am expecting. But the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.
Any ideas or suggestions?
