I got a very basic question:
I try to use Energia hosted on MAC OSX 10.9.5 using has a target an MSP432p401r that already works fine with CCS6, now I want to experiment on ENERGIA, that I think its a great idea, but I'v got problem connecting the target:
- 1 - In the serial port selection menu doesn't appear any /dev/cu****** but only /dev/tty***** even if in /dev directory the cu devices are present.
- 2 - Trying to connect the target using tty device I'v got the diagnostic: "DAP Error - 1170 - Connection failed etc.".
This error is the same that sometimes I receive from CCS6 where the solution is to switch in the target setup to: "USE SWD mode with SWO Trace Disabled". Even in CCS6 is unclear why this error appears and why in certain condition it works fine even if set to: "Use 1149.1 JTAG, SWD Mode is disabled" and in other situations not.
