G2553 I2C read question (Code Composer)

Hi,

I'm trying to interface a MSP430G2553 to the TCA8418. I'm a complete noobie to the I2C bus, and I'm trying to get an idea of how to pull values from the slave's registers. Here's the addressing for the 8418 from its datasheet:

I understand I setup the MSP430 as the master, and I send the 0x68 to try and read from the device, but from here how exactly do I say read from the KEY_LCK_EC register? Sorry, super noobie question. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
