Size of binary

Hi alltogether,

I have a short question. How do I find out the size of a binary? I wrote a small programm, and in CCS6 the *.out ist more than 32kb big, and with MSPGCC the *.elf file is more than 30kb. I can not belief this, cause the programm is not that big.
